An NFC‑ready phone — or one wearing the NFC adapter case — exchanges an ID with the pad the instant it's near. No menu, no search list.

A forget‑device command wipes whatever paired last, so there's no conflict, then opens one dedicated line for your device alone.

Sound over Bluetooth, picture over Wi‑Fi

Audio switches over immediately for playback. Video streams over Wi‑Fi instead, since Bluetooth's 1–3 Mbit/s ceiling can't carry it.

NFC module

Runs from the mains normally; battery keeps the erase‑on‑disconnect routine alive even if power is cut.

Data privacy

It only shares what you tell it to

Scanned before it moves

Updated anti‑virus and anti‑spam checks run on incoming data before anything is forwarded, so a corrupted or malicious file never reaches the host.

Erased on disconnect

Once you disconnect — or send nothing within a set window — the pad runs a script to wipe your information from the host device. Handy for a rental car or hotel room.

You hold the settings

A companion app is the control centre: pick the host, pick what's allowed, and every other data type is shut off until you change it.

Signal integrity

Bad packets get a second pass before they reach the speaker

An optional quality‑assurance routine samples the stream in a small buffer, checks it, and only then lets it through.

An owner or administrator sets who goes first — useful when, say, one household member always takes precedence.
